**Meet C. Robert Brawley**

C. Robert Brawley, a true North Carolinian, has a remarkable background in both athletics and public service. As a former ACC Wrestling Champion and Lt. Colonel in the N.C. Army National Guard, he brings dedication and discipline to everything he does.

With a degree in Engineering Operations from NC State University and a successful career that includes insurance agencies, construction businesses, and more, Robert is ready to bring his experience to the role of Insurance Commissioner.

He served as a legislator in the North Carolina General Assembly for eighteen years and received the “National Legislator of the Year” award in 1995. Always campaigning on “Together We Can”.  His commitment to public service extends to his role as a Sunday School teacher and church lay speaker for over thirty years.
